Motto: Not Me But You
Don Bosco College has stipulated with two N.S.S. units, KL-07-110A&110B, from its beginning time. Altogether we have two units of 50 students in each. Our N.S.S. unit has been acclaimed as one of the best units under the University of Kerala. One of our senior Programme Officers has got the best Programme Officer award in the year 2021. As well as four students were selected as the best NSS volunteers and two students got Appreciation Award. Our NSS unit is famous for a whole range of activities related to charity and social service. We give financial assistance for suffering people and built home for the homeless under the college charity programme Kanneerinu oru Kai.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF NSS
- To understand the community in which they work;
- To understand themselves in relation to their community;
- To identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving process.
- To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility:
- To utilise their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual and community problems;
- To develop competence required for group-living and sharing of responsibilities:
